Rendcomb College Junior School was chosen as “Outdoor Setting of the Year” at the prestigious “Eye” magazine’s Early Years Award ceremony held recently in London. Widely regarded as the “Oscars” of Early Years education, the formidable panel of 7 leading educationalists and writers selected Rendcomb from a massive national entry. The judges were not only impressed with the on-going facility development but also by the schools commitment to incorporating outdoor learning into the curriculum of their pupils with such variety and imagination. Headmaster, Martin Watson, said “Nothing can surpass the joy of seeing our 3-5 year olds return enthused, stimulated and extremely happy from a session delivered outdoors.
